Oh Hello There...

The Doodle Post was originally launched in 2010 by me: Erin a parent of two creative kids and based in Canada. Named after our beloved family Sheepadoodle, The Doodle Post was created to bring creativity to kids in simple, fun craft kits issued by mail.
The demands of the craft subscription business and the complexity and cost increases in Canadian shipping rates caused me to pause the subscription business in 2022. While my planning and programming continued, I'm now re-focussing The Doodle Post on lesson plans and Art Zines you can download in our shop. The projects all begin with a prompt or a theme because I believe having a subject is key in igniting interest for kids. You will notice I have shifted projects towards more process focused art, recognizing the beneftis of less structured creativity. I favour everyday, household materials with an emphasis on nature. To me, the combination of being outdoors, simple foraging in nature and creativity are the foundation for the perfect escape. I aspire to be a lesson planning and programming resource designed to spark ideas in educators, parents and creative minds.
Let's Make. More. Art.
I'm excited to meet you and follow your creative path. Tag your posted projects with #thedoodlepost.
